well, i've finally set up the blog. i'm hoping this will be a good place for me to post thoughts, ideas, comments, impressions, and images as i encounter and experience them.
the first major (and possibly only? tbd) event that i'll be discussing is, of course, my upcoming trip to italy and france. departure date is coming up very soon, and it still hasn't quite sunk in yet. i'm hoping that once i finally get on the plane out of YVR, it'll feel more real. (i'm guessing that i may fall to my knees and kiss the ground once i land in Roma.) i'm also hoping that i'll have enough time on my trip during various train rides, late nights, and early mornings, to write enough to keep this interesting for everyone, myself included. i would also love to hear from you, if you've got any comments or feedback. i'll try my best to keep this as up to date as i can from across the pond.
ah technology. what an interesting thing, hmm?
